Minneapolis, MN

This park was primarily a horse track. It was used for baseball on Sundays. When this park was proposed for Sunday baseball, the street car didn't go this far south, and the promoters were concerned it would hurt business. So, they drummed up a bunch of reasons why the good citizens of South Minneapolis needed a street car extension. The extension was completed in 1895 and Sunday ball was hosted here until 1910.
