Olympic Park (I)

Buffalo, NY

Team: Buffalo Bisons Capacity: 3,748
Cost: $6,000 Major League Dates: May 21, 1884 - October 7, 1885

After raking in $5,000 profit in 1883, Buffalo decided to build a new park. One of the selling points of this place was the new fangled grandstand, which was ventilated by louvers, to keep the wind of the fans' backs.

On October 7, 1885, a crowd of 12 saw the Bisons loose to the Providence Grays. This was the last National League Buffalo game. Many years later, this day will become my birthday.
