Milwaukee Base-Ball Grounds
|Home Team: Milwaukee Grays||Opening Day: May 14, 1878|
|Closing Day: September 14, 1878|
The Grays went 15 and 45 during their only year in the National League. After that lone season, the team was moved to Troy, NY. The loss of the team was felt hard and created enough resentment to keep baseball away until 1884. Hits over the short right field fence were ground rule doubles. Trees were located down the first base line.
