The Red Caps played in the Negro American League during the season, but during their off season they still played. The used to improve their roster by adding players from northern Negro League teams and getting them jobs "red capping" at the Jacksonville Train Station.

This stadium is still standing and I was able to take a lot of photographs. Please be patient as these load. All of the paintings of Negro League stars are on the various gates of the stadium.
